Obama nation: Socialist paper names Obama as member

Among the many dubious associations lurking in Barack Obama’s shadowy past has been a group called the New Party, a socialist political party whose express goal was to get members elected to political office and push the United States toward socialism. Members often have run on other parties’ tickets, typically as Democrats or Greens, hiding their New Party membership, though often listing the New Party as an endorser. The group promotes “fusion voting,” in which two parties combine forces to support one candidate, and has sought legislative changes in various states to formally allow such tactics.

Obama’s campaign has denied any connection to the New Party, whose origin is tied in with ACORN, the group Obama once lawyered for, which is under investigation in at least 16 states and by the federal government for voter fraud and its role in the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac mortgage scandal.

And it’s no wonder Obama wouldn’t want to be associated with the radical group, whose members include the founders of Progressives for Obama, what with political platforms such as:

• Greatly reducing our national defense spending and eliminating “unilateral” military intervention (meaning we can’t protect ourselves without U.N. permission);
• Guaranteed “full employment, a shorter work week, and a guaranteed minimum income for all adults” (meaning bye-bye American dream — the lazy jerk next door will make as much as you no matter how hard you work);
• A “progressive tax based on ability to pay” (punish the wealthy by stealing their money and redistributing it to those who didn’t earn it — “spreading the wealth around a little,” as Obama said;
• “Communities in which residents, neighborhood organizations, businesses, police, and local officials cooperate as equal partners” (i.e., rat on your neighbor to the local gestapo);
• “A Bill of Rights for America’s Children (gotta take those parents down a few pegs), guaranteeing true equality of opportunity by providing equal access to comparable education, health care, nutrition, housing, and safety” (I’m picturing government-sponsored dorms with parents allowed to visit on Christmas — oops, I meant Kwanzaa);
• “Trade among nations consistent with mutual improvement in living standards, reduced cross-national inequalities, and sustainable development” (decreasing available energy sources and tearing down the U.S. economy until we’re on equal footing with Zimbabwe, and all that implies);
• “In all aspects of our economy and social life (meaning in your own business, church, school and home), an absolute bar to discrimination based on race, gender, age, country of origin, and sexual orientation (i.e., stop thinking and do what you’re told), and absolute security in reproductive rights (and let us kill our babies, you fascist righties), fundamental liberties (as written by the socialists), and privacy (for the party elites, no doubt).”
• And more, listed here, though you have to read between the lines of baloney about “democracy.”

Despite the group’s “democracy” language and “looking out for the common man” tone, what it actually stands for is pure, unadulterated Marxism, straight out of the manifesto — and it all sounds suspiciously like what Obama has promised on the campaign trail.

And despite Obama’s denials of being connected to the group, the New Zeal blog has discovered, and other writers have confirmed, that he is named in the New Party’s own 1996 newsletter as a member and endorsed candidate. So there you have it, folks: proof positive (yet again) that the Democratic candidate is a fraud, phony and liar. All you people who are planning to vote for him because you think he looks like a rock star and you like the sound of his voice, you better grow up and ask yourselves if you want to live under a Marxist who is dedicated to turning America into a Soviet-style nation.
